My scientific interests are concentrated around the kingdom of fungi. As a technician, I am involved in projects around arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and their symbiotic relations witch plants. My past research was concentrated around fungal diversity of polar soils and the ability of those fungi to grow on media-rich in polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Additionally, I was involved in projects around biodeterioration and fungi in the indoor environment and I have been working as a microbiologist in the Main Archive of Historical Records in Warsaw. I obtained my MSc in molecular biology at the University of Warsaw.
