Marit Bogert
My research interests focus on the interaction between nature and modern, industrialized society. From my background in ecology and science communication I am interested in how science communication can aid or hinder effective measures against climate change, its consequences and other ecological issues. My PhD research focusses on how climate change is represented in news media, focussing on how climate change, its consequences, causes and solutions are framed and whether this can be attributed to political and economic pressures on news media.
