New springtail species in the Netherlands discovered
On the uninhabited Wadden Sea island of Griend a new springtail species has been discovered. Professor Matty Berg of Animal Ecology found the springtail during research on Griend. He suggests giving the springtail the Dutch name ‘Baltische driedoorntje’. Among others Vroege Vogels published an article on this topic.
